Been a long while since I posted but I have been continuing the journey.  The new total is: $123.16

Havn't had too much luck the past couple days and thought today was going to be another whiff. My luck changed, however, with a late evening find of a dime in the dryer at the laundry mat. As I was putting my clothes into the dryer, saw the dime wedged into a crevice in the actual dryer! Good find!

It's been a while since I last posted. I have been keeping track of my findings.

Finished 2010 with a total of $104.57.

Off to a decent 2011.

Found $10 (2 $5 bills) earlier this month.

Found $.11 at gym yesterday underneath the calf machine and another $.10 today in the parking lot at the OCC track in the dirt next to a parking meter.

2011 YTD total: $10.80.

Overall total: $115.37.

2 good days the past week.

Last Saturday, went to the ASU/ USC game @ the Colesium. Had quite a few beers before the game so I was pretty drunk during the game. Well, ASU wasn't playing too well so we got up to leave towards the beginning of the 4th quarter. So as I made my way through the row towards the aisle to go up the stairs to the exit, I noticed a bunch of change on one of the empty chairs as I walked by. I quickly grabbed the change in full stride. I think I missed a few of the coins but managed to grab $.07. Pretty impressive as I was pretty drunk when we left. On the way out a USC cougar also grabbed my ass.

On Thursday, found 4 random pennies at the laundry mat. When the washer is filling w/ water, I take a walk around the place scouring the floor for change. This time, each penny was laying solo. Good finds. No cougars grabbed my ass this time.

Past few days have been good.

Last Friday, found a dime in the airport before my flight to Atlanta.
Later in Atlanta, found another dime outside a pretty tasty restaurant- Six Feet Under.

Today, found another dime in the parking lot at work.

Also found a penny somewhere over the past couple days but don't remember exactly where.

New YTD total: $103.89.

In other good news, the market was up 219 points today to close at a 2 year high of 11,434.

Silver was up over 6% to close at $26.39 an ounce. Gold was up over 3% to close at $1393.

Good day at OCC..

Parked my car. Opened my door and saw penny that was sitting in the empty parking spot next to me.

Proceeded through parking lot to the track. On the way, noticed a dime sitting between 2 parked cars.

Spotted a dirty penny near the gate as I entered the track.

Ran my ass off. Good workout.

Leaving, somehow spotted real dirty penny laying in the dirt.

I had some serious money finding sensors on today. The last 2 pennies were barely visible.

Found a penny in cubby hole of gym locker room while changing into my workout clothes. Then went and had a crappy workout.

Pretty good day as I found a quarter and a penny at the laundry mat by the change machine.

Another $.01 found in the dirt planter at the grocery store as I got out of my car.

This is the saddest penny I have seen. It is still barely recognizable even after washing it off in the sink.

Been a while since I posted. Coin picking has been scarce and have only found $3.16 total ytd..until today.

Found a neatly folded up $100 bill on ground in front of cafeteria. Ka Ching!

I think I may buy some silver bullion or coins w/ this new found wealth.

Finally found some change at the grocery store!

Found a dime on the ground outside as I was walking towards the shopping carts.

Hope this breaks my drought and I start having some better luck.

rough week

Have not had much success recently.

Last find was last Saturday. Found a penny and a nickel at a bar- Mutt Lynch's.

I saw a dollar on the ground but some girl swooped it up before I could make my approach. The bar was pretty crowded.

Hoping for better luck this week.

I did have a good workout at the track. 6 cycles of fartleks.

I also brought my lunch to work so I saved a couple bucks there as well.

Month total came in at $.82.

On a side note, my GE Interest Plus money market account w/ $525 in it earned $.62 for the month.

I made more money picking up change on the ground.

Picked up first penny buried in the dirt at the track. It was beat up but still a find.

Found second penny on cool down walk lap on the walkway in front of the bleachers. This one was in better shape.

Found nothing at the grocery store and can't remeber last time I made a find there.
